The important technical requirements for the XML Architect position include, but are not limited to, the following:

XML stack experience: XML, XSLT 2.0, XPath, XSL-FO, Schema, Relax NG.
HTML, CSS, JS
Java command line, Java Swing.
C, Objective-C.
Can work well with developers and non-technical customers.
Proven record of solving unique and often complex problems.
Experience writing well-designed, abstract, data-centric XML vocabularies capable of scalability, extensibility, and content longevity.
Experience in the publishing industry a plus.
